RGA offers a broad range of services. From site selection and master planning through building design and construction administration, to furnishing interiors. Each client relationship is individually tailored to fit the scope of work defined by the client. Whether limited to a brief consultation or expanded to a full-scope design project, our goal is to provide our clients with the design expertise we have developed over the past 20 years. Following are some of the services we offer. However, we would be happy to discuss how we may modify or add to these offerings to suit your specific needs.

Site Selection and Evaluation
Often we are asked to consult with clients to establish the best strategy for developing a specific site or existing structure. This service may be part of a purchasing decision or a precursor to a master-planning endeavor.

Master Planning
Through careful site analysis, we work with our clients to design a plan that integrates their specific requirements with the unique aspects of the site.

Schematic Design
Working from our clients’ wish list in the context of the site restrictions, we develop design proposals intended to elicit a reaction from the client in order to better focus the design scope. Project style, layout and form are addressed in this phase.

Design Development
In the Design Development phase, we focus on issues such as materials, finishes, and design details. We develop product specifications and integration details that are critical to create a cohesive project.

Construction Documents and Specifications
This is the stage when dimensioned drawings and all pertinent information for building the project are produced. This set of documents may vary in its scope, depending on the owners’ involvement in the construction process and the requirements from the builder.

Construction Administration
While construction is proceeding, we make ourselves available to answer questions, resolve unforseen issues, and generally oversee the job. Field visits to the job site and periodic progress reports to the client are provided on a regular basis, as is appropriate for the complexity of the project.

Interior Design Services
As a comprehensive design firm, we offer interior design services to seamlessly complete our projects. By working with our in-house designers, we are able to resolve integration issues prior to construction, and are able to integrate custom details that pull a project together.

Product Purchasing Services
Resources are available to design professionals that are not necessarily available to the Owner. Ramsay Gourd Architects offers a purchasing service for architectural and interior products to our clients.

Graphics
We have worked with homeowners to develop special graphics that are personalized to reflect their new home, from Christmas and moving cards to personal stationary and signage. In addition, we have generated corporate identity packages that include graphic design concepts for marketing and merchandising material.
