RAMSAY GOURD, AIA

Ramsay studied architecture at Cornell University, both in Ithaca, New York and Rome, Italy.  Upon graduation in 1988, Ramsay moved to Boston, where he worked for the noteworthy firms of Moshe Safdie and Graham Gund Architects.  In 1995, he established Ramsay Gourd Architects in the bucolic setting of Manchester, Vermont.  Ramsay holds licenses in Vermont, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey, and has consulted on projects throughout the country.

In 2014, Ramsay launched his eponymous brand, Ramsay Gourd Home, featuring a collection of fabric, furniture and wall coverings.  This venture provided an opportunity for him to more fully customize his projects, designing textiles and furnishings specific to his clients and their projects. 

Away from the office, Ramsay enjoys horseback riding and entertaining his family and friends both in Vermont and on Martha’s Vineyard.

PATRICK KING

Having earned his Masters of Architecture from Norwich University, Patrick joined the RGA team in 2006.  He is a native to the area and has come from a background in residential construction.  Patrick is registered Architect, currently licensed in Vermont.  Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife & two children and is an active member of his local fire department as a firefighter/EMT.

MARCUS GONZALEZ

Marcus has a history in residential and commercial architecture. Currently an aspiring architect in Vermont, he has over a decade of experience shop drawing, residential planning and drafting, and fifteen years as a professional artist. Snowboarding has always been a passion of his, so when it came time to move from Connecticut with his wife, the only option was further north where he now enjoys every outdoor hobby you could imagine.

BRITTNEY CURAVOO

Born and raised as a proud generational Vermont native, Brittney brings a strong sense of commitment, professionalism, and heart to every role she undertakes. With a background in hospitality management, she has cultivated expertise in client relations and operational efficiency. Currently, Brittney serves as the personal assistant to Ramsay Gourd, where she manages a range of responsibilities including sourcing, ordering and receiving for client projects, coordinating travel and itineraries, overseeing general office duties, and providing administrative support to other team members. She is also heavily involved with interior design on many current projects. Brittney’s goal here at RGA is to try and ensure seamless daily operations and deliver exceptional service as a team player.
